Iva Evans
Iva Evans, born June 11, 1884, departed this life October 3, 1953. age 69 years, 3 months and 22 days. She was the daughter of Bazil and Sarah Denning Davis, united in marriage December 31, 1900, to George Evans, who preceded her in death. Children surviving are Herman, of Portsmouth; Aaron of West Union, Cornelius, at home and five grandchildren; two brothers, Willie Davis of Sabina and Melvin Davis of New Vienna. [NB: Iva Alice Davis Evans is buried in the Jaybird Cemetery, Adams Co, OH. Seven children preceded her in death.]
