Howard Dale Tong
Howard Dale Tong, 53, of Peebles, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at his residence. He was born Aug. 21, 1950, in Pike County, the son of Curtis and Margene Tong Smith. He is survived by his mother; five children, Amy, William, Linda, Rhoma, and Steven; 13 brothers and sisters, Donna Snyder, Margaret Payne, Betty Bowman, Rosie Price, Alan Lansing, Juanita Lansing, Sharon Lansing, Michael Lansing, Andrew Lansing, David Lansing, Tina Schmauch and Lisa Newman; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his stepfather, father, stepmother, one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003, at the Smith-Moore Funeral Home in Bainbridge with Pastor Tom Pennington officiating. Burial will be in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
