Rosana Shuphert Sheeley
Mrs. Rosana Shuphert Sheeley, of Island Creek, died at her home Saturday after a protracted illness. She was born Dec. 23, 1832, and departed this life Oct. 29, 1910. She was the mother of 12 children, 10 living to mourn her demise and a host of friends. She united with the Old Oak German church at Oak Grove when but a girl of 18. Funeral services were held at the late home Monday by Rev. Bennett. Interment at the old cemetery at this place.
