Jo Ann Shivener
Jo Ann Shivener, 54, of Cincinnati, formerly of West Union, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, at her home, following a long illness. She was born on Nov. 8, 1942, in Adams County, the daughter of the late Chester and Floriene (Hazelbaker) Shivener. Survivors include a son, Scott Mefford of Glendale, Arizona; three duaghters, Kristi Sargent of Cincinnati, Toni Mefford of Fife, Washington, and Bobbie Jo Watson of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren; four brothers, Dickie and Carl Shivener, both of Cincinnati, Kenny Shivener of New Richamond, and Neil Shivener of Blue Creek; six sisters, Mary Sue Wright of Lynx, Sherry Whitworth, Rhonda Duncan, and Becky Rodenas, all of Cincinnati, Gail Williams of Blue Creek and Vickie Knauff of West Union. Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family, under the direction of the Ellis-Beam Funeral Home. There will be no visitation or funeral services.
