Daisy Estella Shoemaker
Daisy Estella Shoemaker was born June 1, 1909, near Lawshe, Ohio, the daughter of Henry L. and Lizzie Peterson Arey. She departed his life on April 17, 1994, at Peebles, Ohio at the age of 84 years, ten months, and 17 days. She was united in marriage with Milton Earl Shoemaker on December 31, 1927. Earl preceded her in death. To this union three children were born Theron Shoemaker of Peebles, Alice Mae Grooms of West Union, and Richard Shoemaker of Peebles. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was an employee of the Hillcrest Nursing Home for many years and had retired while in her late seventies. She was a member of the Lawshe Church of Christ and of the Peebles and West Union Senior Citizen Clubs. She will be missed by her family and friends. .
