Ralph W. Purtee
Ralph W. Purtee, 74, of Sabina, passed away Monday, July 20, at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. Born July 7, 1918, in Adams County, he was the son of James T. and Elmira Hoffer Purtee. Mr. Purtee spent most of his life in Clinton County, retiring from Clinton Landmark Feed Mill at Lees Creek. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Mae Newman Purtee; daughter and son-in-law Barbara Lee and Philip Myers of Waynesville; a son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Patricia Purtee of Wilmington; seven grandhchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Littleton Funeral Home in Sabina. Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery in Adams County, Robert Murphy officiating. Friends may call Wednesday 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
