Martha Puntenney
Mrs. Martha Puntenney, in the 81st year of her age. The deceased was born March 18, 1805; united with the Dissenting Presbyterian Church at the age of sixteen years and retained her membership with the denomination until the organization of the United Presbyterian Church, when she, with her husband, James Puntenney, went into this Church. She lived a consistent member of this church till the Master called her to join the innumerable company, the general assembly and church of the first-born, whose names are written in heaven. Her religion was neither demonstrative nor spasmodic, but was beautifully exhibited in one continuous adorning of that "meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price".
