Helen Ruth Fronk Newman

Helen Ruth Fronk Newman was born February 22, 1919, to Junia Taylor and Mark Fronk, and departed this world on December 22, 2001, at Brown County General Hospital at the age of 82 years and 10 months. Her husband, Jesse Earl Newman Sr., to whom whe was married for nearly 50 years, preceded her in death in 1987. Into this marriage were born seven children, Jesse, Mary, Betty, Audrey, Linda, Shirley and Sandy. Helen and Earl faithfully served the Lord together in the ministry for many years, and raised their children to serve Him also. Now, after fighting a good fight, Helen has finished the course, and won the race. The reward of which is life everlasting with God the Father, and Jesus Christ, His Son. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union, in West Union, Ohio, and was faithful in attendance until her health prohibited. Yet still, even in the nursing home, she continued to spread the news of Christ and bring encouagement to others. She is survived by her seven children and their spouses; Jesse and Mary Newman, of Forrest, Ohio; Mary and Volley Reed, of West Union, Ohio; Betty and Tony Palazzo, of Weston, Connecticut; Audrey and Eddie Dotson, of Dayton, Ohio; Linda and Dean Frost, of West Union, Ohio; Shirley and Jack LaWarre, of Kenton, Ohio; and Sandy and Marlin Quillin of Maysville, Kentucky. Eleven grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law also brightened her life. Her family and the many friends whose lives she touched during her time on earth will sadly miss her. Although she is gone, she will never be forgotten. And she is waiting for the day when her family and friends will meet her in heaven.
