Harry C. "Bud" Newman
Harry C. "Bud" Newman, 61, of Moraine and formerly of West Union, passed away Saturday, August 19, at his home. Born May 30, 1934, at West Union, he was a son of the late Carey and Ruth (Denning) Newman. Mr. Newman was retired from General Motors of Dayton, and was a member of the Moraine City Eagles. He is survived by one son, Terry Newman of Phillipsburg; three daughters, Shari Schiller of Dayton, Christi Miller of Brookville and Angela Gibson of Kettering; three sisters, Irene Davis of West Union, Rose VanZant of Arizona and Donna Powell of New Vienna; three brothers, Carey Glenn Newman of Morrow, Larry Neal Newman of Alabama and Estel Pete Newman of Lebanon; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Ellis-Beam Funeral Home in West Union, with Rev. Cecil Appleman officiating. Burial is to be in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation is two hours before services Wednesday, August 23, at the funeral home.
