Frank Kemmeter


KEMMETER, FRANK -- 55, local Manchester baker was found dead in his bed at his home early Sat. night. Death had occurred approximately 48 hrs. before the discovery. He hadn't been seen on the street since Thurs. Albert Burton who had rooms in the same house. Thinking something was wrong he went to the bakers door but it was locked; he secured a ladder & using a flashlight he looked through the transit above the door he could tell Kemmeter had passed away. He then broke open the door & secured a Dr. He probably suffered severely, so much so that relatives said, he had started to write a note, which was found on the bed beside him with the incomplete wordng "In bed________" He operated a bakery bearing his name & had a reputation of always being thrifty & kind hearted. He has three ch. who survive: Henrietta, Ferdinand & Alphonse all reside in Cin. His wife died many yrs. ago. He lived on W. 7th St. & his bakety was located on the back lot at his residence. Fun. was Mon. at E. G. King Fun. Home by Father Ambrose bur. in Local Cem.
