Sylvia F. Hill
Sylvia F. Hill, 78, of Otway, Route 2, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1992, at a Cincinnati hospital. She was born Nov 10, 1913, in Adams County, a daughter of the late William Henry and Laura Ellen Wamsley Dalton. Survivors include her husband, Arthur Hill, whom she married March 13, 1931; a son, Robert D. Hill of Otway Route 2; two daughters, Mrs. William (Wilma) Augustine of Portsmouth and Mrs. Kenneth (Betty) Ingles of Milford; eight granchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by five brothers, Clay, Walter, Hosea, Frank and Charles Dalton; and three sisters, Carrie Gordley, Anna Whitley and Barbara Cook. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Fidday at Botkin Funeral Home in Otway, with Dillard Martin officiating, and interment in White Oak Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeal home from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until the services Friday.
