Robert C. Hazelbaker
Robert C. Hazelbaker, 84, of West Union, passed away on Saturday, December 02 [ 1995], at the Albert R. Hanna Care Center in West Union. Mr. Hazelbaker was born May 24, 1911, at Cincinnati, a son of the late Victor and Anna (Caraway) Hazelbaker. His wife, Thelma Lloyd Hazelbaker, also preceded him in death. He was a retired school teacher and a member of the Rome Masonic Lodge, the West Union Lions Club, the Scottish Rite of Cincinnati and the Adams County Retired Teachers Association. Surviving are a son, Ronald W. Hazelbaker of Wheelersburg; a daughter, Katherine H. Pence of Kettering; one brother, Carl Hazelbaker of Blue Creek; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 5, at the Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union. Rev. Ova Barr and Rev. Dennis Grooms officated. Burial was in Moore's Chapel Cemetery at Blue Creek. Memorial contributions may be made to the Moore's Chapel Church, in care of the church secretary at Blue Creek.
