E. Berniece Hazelbaker
E. Berniece Hazelbaker, 91, of Littleton, Colo., and formerly of West Union, died Feb. 16, 2001, at the Littleton Manor Nursing Home. She was born in West Union on July 12, 1909, daughter of the late Wylie and Lestia Piatt. She was a homemaker and a seamstress. Survivors include one daughter, Linda L. Fritchie; one grandson, Scott Fritchie; one granddaughter, Leah Simmons, and one great-grandson, all of Littleton, Colo; and one sister, Evelyn Stent of Columbus. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter W. Hazelbaker, in 1991. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, at the Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union with the Rev. Doug Ferguson officiating.
