Chris Bazler
Chris Bazler, 18, of West Union, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1998, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born Aug. 20, 1980, in West Union. He was a member of the senior class at West Union High School and a cook at Long John Silver's restaurant in Georgetown. Survivors include his parents, Tim Bazler of Peebles and Vickey Bazler of West Union; one sister, Jessica Eileen Hayslip-Holbrook; paternal grandmother, Edith Bazler of Rarden; four uncles and two aunts. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union, with Ronnie Green officiating. Burial will follow at the East Liberty Cemetery near Lynx. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 9, 6-9 p.m., at the funeral home.
