WILSON, Ralph V., 81, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, June 28 (1995), at The Highland District Hospital. He was born December 10, 1913, at Sinking Spring, the son of the late Marshall and Anna (Smalley) Wilson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Moore) Wilson, on November 28, 1994, and one sister, Mary Wisehart. Mr. Wilson retired from the N&W Railroad and was a member of the Highland County Senior Citizens. He is survived by four sons, James Wilson of Springfield, Ronald Wilson of Hillsboro, Robert Wilson and Gary Wilson, both of Peebles; four daughters, Mary Smith of Hillsboro, Garnett Conn of Peebles, Diana Meredith of Bloomingburg, and Shirley Johnson of Wilmington; two brothers Carl Wilson and Ray Wilson, both of Shirley, Indiana; 26 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 1, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles, with Bill Christman officiating. Burial was in the Locust Grove Cemetery. (Defender, 5 July 1995)

WILSON, Dorothy Jane Moore, 75, of Hillsboro, formerly of Peebles, passed away Monday, November 28 (1994), at Highland District Hospital. She was born December 18, 1918 near Lawshe, the daughter of Robert and Lilly Crothers Moore. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Wilson; four sons, James of Springfield, Donald of Hillsboro, Gary and Robert William of Peebles; four daughters, Mary Smith of Highland, Garnet Conn of Peebles, Shirley Johnson of Wilmington, Dianna Meredith of Bloomingburg; one brother, Russell Moore of Hillsboro; one sister, Opal Thurman of Leesburg; 26 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Highland County Senior Citizens. Visitation will be held Wednesday (today) from 6-8 p.m., at the Funeral Home Thursday. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with Bill Christman officiating. (Defender, 30 Nov 1994)
